Modifications to CISSP® Experience Requirements Beginning 1 October 2007

With effect from October 1, 2007 the minimum requirement for CISSP certification will be five years of relevant work experience in two or more of the 10 domains of the CISSP CBK or four years of work experience with an applicable college degree. The current requirements for the CISSP call for four years of work experience in one or more of the 10 domains of the CISSP CBK, or three years of experience with an applicable college degree.

CISSP candidates will also be required to obtain an endorsement of their candidature exclusively from an (ISC)² -certified professional in good standing.

IntelleSecure conducts a 4 day workshop for CISSP aspirants covering the 10 domains specified in (ISC)² CBK. The primary objective of this workshop is to help participants prepare for the CISSP certification exam. We have been working on revised course contents for the CISSP workshop to incorporate the latest updates as per (ISC)² guidelines specified in the CBK and have made some changes to our training methodology as follows:

On completion of the presentation for each domain, specific questions related to that domain would be discussed to enable the participants to get a better understanding of the requirements from a CISSP exam point of view. There will be a mock exam conducted for 4 hours at the end of the workshop on the 4th day using a sample questionnaire based on frequently asked questions to help the participants get hands-on exposure to what they will need to prepare for when they attempt the exam.
